- Involvement included the preparation of

- Besides translating and dealing with German
suppliers I later joined the field activities as assistant Project Manager
and dealt with local Government, Consultants, Main and Subcontractors. In addition to the
technical aspects, I was responsible for time and cost control directly to the Management.

Joined the Interior Designing Department as Civil/Design Engineer of this
Company and was involved in the interior design and office planning for various projects
in San Francisco City for Clients such as AT&T, Sony, Hewlett Packard etc. |

strategies and presentations for the Company's own products.
- Duties further involved the dealing with Clients
and working out contracts and their conditions for the execution of the works.
Co-ordination with Contractors, Subcontractors, Suppliers etc., managing, organising and
supervising my own projects.

In addition, I managed various
Projects as Project manager for timber framed residential houses and 3-4 storey
structural steel skeleton buildings as Turn key projects in Silicon Valley. |

and obtaining all required permits to work

concrete, blockwork, steel etc.

projects in the City Centre including planning and Interior Design of new shops and
restaurants
- Further projects executed are the construction of
new apartments and Penthouses in existing city buildings within their roof space

mentioned activities include all legal and contractual aspects from start to finnish of
the projects.

- DUBAL (Dubal Aluminium Company) Construction of
steam turbines (Tum key project)
- All sorts of sheet piling and shoring works for
jetties and other Marine facilities.
- Construction of Marinas, breakwaters and beach
revetments within the U.A.E, Oman and Qatar.
- Bur Juman Shopping Centre, one of the most
prestigious Shopping Malls in the Middle East. Construction of structural steel works for
complete roof including cladding, glazing and waterproofing works.

Manager, Middle East Director. |

- Independently managing the whole Middle East
region with Main Office and project management in Dubai.
- Planning and procuring new business strategies
for the Company with approximately 500 employees
- Re-organising the whole Company and updating the
system and procedures to increase organisation productivity and profitability
Ensuring effective functioning of the branch office in the Emirate of Sharjah (for
specialised steel fabrication with their various sites and workshop jobs) and Abu Dhabi

- Overview of the Company's new adopted and revised systems,
accounting, plant, workshop and tender department, which led to substantial and
irrefutable profit increases after being General Manager.
- Preparing yearly balance sheets for the Company after
liasing with companies accounts departments and the Auditors (Coopers & Lybrand).
- Arranging and attending Board meetings and AGM's with the
share holders of the Company to advise about dividends and future strategies of the
Company, such as investments in property, plant, assets, manpower etc.
- Personnel responsibilities for all human resource
activities of the company within the Middle East, including various trips to neighbouring
countries and the Far East.
- Company's activities stretched from UAE to OMAN, YEMEN,
SAUDI ARABIA, QUATAR, BAHRAIN, KUWAIT, and IRAQ.

in the UAE with approximately 50 employees, office premises, labourer camp and plant
department including all human resource activities for staff and work force. Running the
day to day business of the company as Managing Director and shareholder. Promoting

specialised civil works and project management contracts. |
